Job Description:

We’re looking for a Staff Accountant that is a team player and has good understanding of retail transactions, general accounting, and an ability and interest to tackle new projects as they arise.

Job Responsibilities:

• The Staff Accountant will be responsible for the fixed asset and prepaid expense accounting as well as the Company purchase card administrator. The right candidate for this position will be detail oriented, drive development and efficiencies, experience in fast-paced environments, ability to work with various internal departments, an interest in continuous improvement and a drive to grow with the Company.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to interact effectively with different personality styles
• Expertise leveraging Excel
• A track record of ability to problem-solve and prioritize tasks
• Strong team building skills
• Understanding and commitment to Zumiez culture and values

Qualification & Experience:

• BA/BS degree or relevant general ledger experience
• Retail and process automation experience is a plus
