You Are

A UX Writer who’s passionate about taking complex concepts and simplifying them with clear, eye-level text. You’re a mother tongue level English speaker and writing professional who knows how to collaborate with a product team and launch an excellent product under tight deadlines. You’re tech-oriented, interested in working on a product for developers, want to learn how web apps are built and are familiar with web development processes. You’re interested in HTML, CSS and JavaScript, and aren’t frightened off by technical jargon.

You’re a critical thinker, great at independent research, excited by the opportunity to dive deep into unfamiliar topics. You consider yourself a quick learner and have an eye for detail. You are also a team player who can communicate and collaborate with stakeholders, and give and take feedback constructively.

As a UX Writer For Velo, You Will

  • Write content that explains our tools and product flows in clear, effective language while adhering to the Wix tone and voice
  • Conduct extensive product and user research
  • Work with other writing groups including Technical Writers, Marketing Writers and Knowledge Base Writers to ensure a consistent and successful user experience
  • Coordinate localization with our Global Markets team to ensure efficient and successful localization for our global audience (20 languages and counting)
  • Own every stage of the content cycle, from brainstorming on initial wireframes to shipping perfect copy
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, UX Designers and other stakeholders across the company
  • Juggle multiple projects at once, while prioritizing your tasks and meeting tight deadlines
