Job Description:

The Cybersecurity Technology team is part of Technology Infrastructure (TI). The Cyber Technology Hygiene Engineering role is responsible for identifying, formulating and implementing complex information security policies, procedures, technology, tools and controls. The candidate should possess technology industry experience and knowledge of business and technology processes and controls.

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
• Implement Enterprise level projects/initiatives impacting one or more LOBs
• Utilize industry leading security solutions and best practices to implement one or more components of information security such as availability, integrity, confidentiality, risk management, threat identification, modeling, monitoring, incident response, access management, and business continuity
• Assist with the design, documentation, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of security solutions related to networking, cryptography, cloud, authentication and directory services, email, internet, applications, and endpoint security
• Interface with more experienced technologists
• Track or remediate vulnerabilities and security issues
• Provide technical support for security related issues
• Participate in recommending changes to information security policy, standards and procedures as needed for systems/applications/tools
• Develop and implement complex and innovative solutions addressing: vulnerability detection, threat analysis, network intrusion and vulnerability mitigation strategies using engineering tools and mindset

Job Requirements:

• Understanding of HTTP
• Understanding of how to do a patch search on windows
• Understanding of complex data structures
• Understanding of how to do a package search on any modern Linux
• Understanding of regex to extract data out of API pulls
• Understanding of JSON and REST APIs
• Knowledge and understanding of Python, R or SCALA

Qualification & Experience:

• Experience with version control or source code repositories to include: Jenkins, GitHub, Artifactory or XMLSpy
• Experience with Agile Scrum (Daily Standup, Sprint Planning and Sprint Retrospective meetings) and Kanban
• 2+ years of Information Security Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
