What You’ll Be Doing…

Verizon is looking to add somebody to an integral role with the 911 Database Technical Support Team and to partner with peers in the following: database migrations, manage and track daily update files sent and received, root cause analysis and monitor and direct vendor support activities/processes. This candidate will be responsible for:

  • Supporting Data MIgrations- Internal & External customer requests for system access, reports and data extracts, and Root Cause Analysis of system fallout/order processing failures.
  • Managing and track daily update files sent and received.
  • Monitoring and direct vendor support activities/processes.
  • Mechanization and automation of processes.
  • Processing Documentation & Training.
  • 911 Database Migrations and Assessments.
  • Extracting data analysis.
  • Managingand tracking daily update data files sent and received.
  • Testing ESNs and New ESN Assignments
  • Working on Root Cause Analysis of system errors and service order flow through issues.
  • Monitoring and direct vendor support activities/processes.
  • Handling System Access Requests & Training.
  • Processing trainingeference documents creation & maintenance.
  • ManagingIntrado Safety Services software releases and testing.
  • Releasingtesting/certification.
  • Reporting defects/track to resolution.
  • Coordinatingrelease installs.
  • Providingsubject matter expertise to 911 organization, vendor, industry partners and external customers.
  • Supporting strategic initiatives.

Where You’ll Be Working

In this remote role, you’ll work from home with occasional in-person trainings and meetings.

You’ll Need To Have

What we’re looking for…

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.

Even Better If You Have

  • Two or more years ofexperience in 911 System Administration and Database Management – including Intrado Hosted ALI, TSS and Insight applications.
  • 911 System Management experience.
  • Database Migration experience.
  • Experience in data compare and analysis.
  • Strong working knowledge of Windows applications, including WORD, EXCEL and Power Point.
  • Strong communication, organizational and administrative skills.
  • Previous vendor oversight/management experience.
  • Project Management experience and/or certification.

If you are hired into a Colorado work location, the compensation range for this position is between $68,000 and $126,000 based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
