The Role & Responsibilities:

FULLY REMOTE POSITION

  • The Senior Developer will be responsible for designing and implementing performant & scalable back-end solutions. The objective is well tested, easy to operate, end-to-end solutions for the business and our customers.
  • Your day to day involves designing systems, coding brilliantly, mentoring & learning, automated test suites, monitoring solutions, CI/CD pipelines, and documentation in English for clients. You will be comfortable communicating digitally with team members and clients as we are a remote first company. Our primary language is Node.js. Other tech used is Java, Solidity, Ethereum, Mongo, Terraform, AWS (ECS, Lambdas, EC2, ALBs, S3, Kinesis, OpenSearch), Github, Jira, Postman & Markdown.
  • We work in squads so you will be into working closely with product managers, QA, server, and front-end engineers as a cohesive team. You will be reporting to the Backend Team Lead.
  • Work on a codebase in a cutting-edge domain – Digital Self Sovereign Identity
  • Work with DLT & Contracts, peer to peer networks, event processing & true devops culture
  • Make complex technology seamless to other developers & regular people
  • Problem solving with a team you look forward to working with every day

Core Requirements:

  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Software and Computer Engineering, or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of experience in SW Development
  • Experienced in Node.js, or advanced experience with two languages such as Java, Go or C#
  • Distinct Advantages: SaaS, APIs, Real-Time Data, Aggregation, Search, FaaS, Microservices
  • Technology Advantages are Mongo, Terraform, AWS, Blockchain, Smart Contracts, Cryptography, Distributed Systems & Docker/Kubernetes, React or Vue.
  • Enjoy coding, knows it’s also about testing, training, docs and devops too
  • A sharp self-starter
  • You must value communication as we are a remote
  • Fluent English – Must
  • Industry Background Advantages are Digital Identity, Fintech or Crypto
