Job Description:

Coordinates space-planning requirements companywide and ensures conformity to established company standards. Maintains, supports, and assists other department personnel with managing new building construction and relocation projects companywide, including coordination with external and internal contacts.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Designs new or modifies existing floor plans and draws layout for furniture placement.
  • Coordinates with relocation companies for transition of employees and furnishings.
  • Monitors and reviews progress of construction and remodeling projects to ensure suitable conditions for occupancy.
  • Develops punch lists through all stages of the construction process and monitors for completion.
  • Develops programming needs for building space while understanding two dimensional floor plans and space planning and departmental relationships.
  • Makes changes to internal floor plans for employee moves.
  • Supervises the installation, modification, and removal of furniture to ensure that work is accomplished according to manufacturer’s recommendations.
  • Coordinates ordering and installation of furniture and furnishings within budget.
  • Schedules lead times, etc. to coordinate with move-in dates.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience with computer-aided design software (AutoCAD Lite or similar software package) preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree, or higher level, preferred.

Qualification & Experience:

  • 3 years of experience in facilities management, drafting, or related discipline required.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
