They are responsible for developing the applications which track and move up to 38 million packages in a single day (4.7 billion annually). Job Responsibilities:

  • The Intermediate Applications Developer will be part of the Airline Fuel and Finance and Accounting development team that is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining code and data supporting fuel efficiency and accurate airline accounting. He/She will work as part of an Agile Scrum team with responsibilities including reviewing and analyzing of business and functional requirements, participating in project architecture and technical design, performing technical analysis, implementation, debugging and maintenance of complex program modules. He/She will also be responsible for writing design and technical specifications, code implementation, defect correction, unit testing, and participation in design and code reviews.
  • The Intermediate Applications Developer provides input and support for full systems life cycle management activities (e.g., analyses, technical requirements, design, coding, testing, implementation of systems and applications software, etc.). He/She performs tasks within planned durations and established deadlines. This position collaborates with teams to ensure effective communication in supporting the achievement of objectives. He/She provides knowledge, development, maintenance, and support for applications.

Job Requirements:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Knowledge of Data Analysis and Technical Analysis
  • Familiarity with SQL Language
  • Must be a self-motivated learner
  • Expertise with Java Programming, JavaScript, and Web Development
  • Familiarity with Spring Boot, Angular, and OpenShift

Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline or the equivalent in education and work experience
  • Experience with Agile Development
