£51,799 to £60,022 per annum (Associate Professor)

The School of Health Sciences’ mission is to be a leader in health care innovation and education, addressing global healthcare challenges and equipping others to do the same.

At an exciting time of development, we are seeking to appoint a highly motivated Lecturer/Associate Professor in Nursing Sciences to complement and strengthen the research activity within one or more of the School’s existing research programmes.

You will develop your research in line with the School’s Strategic Plan, alongside significant educational input into the School’s nursing provision at undergraduate and master’s level, and postgraduate research supervision. You will make a substantial contribution to the development of the School’s internationally excellent research profile.

You will have a doctoral research degree in a health-related discipline.

Associate Professor candidates will be expected to develop and lead an independent 3/4* (Research Excellence Framework rating) quality research programme in the field of expertise.

The post is available immediately on a full-time, indefinite basis and will be subject to an enhanced criminal record check from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
