Tasks

  • Management of the IT department with direct report to the CEO
  • Design and development of a tech strategy and system architecture in line with the defined corporate business objectives
  • Deliver ROI on investments in tech projects
  • LEADERSHIP AND DEVELOPMENT
  • Leading 40+ passionate engineers working on products they are proud of
  • Empowering agile working and highly productive and motivated IT teams in a mainly remote and international context
  • Retain talents and expand development teams by incorporating global resources
  • IT OPERATIONS AND INFRASTRUCTURE
  • Own the technology roadmap and deliver the next generation of the product platform
  • Ensure stability of the current applications and system infrastructure and manage legacy systems

Qualifications

  • Several years (7-10 years +) of experience as a manager with technical overall responsibility and proven track record of running larger scale strategic projects
  • Excellent knowledge of IT systems, IT technologies, infrastructures
  • Knowledge of ML and AI applications desirable and advantageous
  • Hands-on mentality, can-do attitude, team player, pragmatism and entrepreneurial spirit including strong commercial understanding
  • Strong, winning personality and excellent communication skills in any situation
  • Fluent in English, German nice to have
