Trilion Capital is a San Diego based hard money lender and fund manager specializing in short-term real estate loans, i.e., fix & flip loans, bridge loans, rental loans, and construction loans. Most of our borrowers purchase, renovate, and then sell single family homes for profit. We operate our own private equity fund and currently have nearly $200 million in assets under management. Trilion Capital is growing and looking for great people to join our team. The Mortgage Operations Specialist will work directly with the Chief Operating Officer to support loan production, flow, compliance, and processing. The position is administrative in nature, and will involve interactions with loan officers, escrow, title, loan servicer, borrowers, and other internal and external resources and systems.
The Mortgage Operations Specialist is a hybrid position allowing for a flexible work schedule and choice to work from home at least half of the time. You will need to work from the corporate office in Carmel Valley once or twice each week for at least a couple of hours. The position is flexible, paid as full-time, but may take less time initially.
The best candidates will have prior experience in real estate escrow, title, mortgage operations, processing, underwriting, or related fields. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Salesforce a plus. Excellent communication skills a must.
