The ideal candidate will have an ability to create and maintain an efficient system of operation to support the business needs. The candidate should be comfortable multitasking and working cross-functionally with different business units. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in related fields.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the overall day-to-day operations of the Company, which consist of sales, purchasing, quality management, logistics, bookkeeping and administration
  • Monthly reporting and presentation of the Company’s performance (including but not limited to sales, profitability, financial position, receivables and payables) to HQ, or more frequent if required
  • Establish a robust sales strategy in response to market behavior and be quick to change or respond to any changes, to ensure the Company remains competitive in the market
  • Strengthen the Company’s existing customer network and continuously expand the Company’s customer reach
  • Determine appropriate product pricing, and updating the product price lists when necessary in accordance with market rates, and consulting with HQ where necessary
  • Manage inventory levels in accordance with the supply and demand of each respective product type, and place orders for additional purchases when needed
  • Oversee the shipment, import and clearance process of incoming orders purchased by both the Company and OEM customers
  • Maintain and manage the artwork for both the Company’s in-house brand and OEM customers
  • Handle product complaints (if any) in accordance with procedures and regulatory requirements
  • Timely and proper communication with the Company’s PRRC (Person Responsible for Regulatory Compliance) on all regulatory matters, as well as other issues requiring the PRRC’s attention
  • Monitor and manage the company’s cash flow position to ensure sufficient funds available at all times
  • Make payments to creditors on a timely basis and monitor outstanding receivables
  • Oversee the monthly/annual financial closing and tax filing process and liaise with the external auditor and tax consultant accordingly
  • Manage the welfare of all employees contracted with the Company and ensure a right balance of staffing at all times
  • Manage other administrative matters, including office upkeep and maintenance
  • Regular and transparent communication with HQ pertaining to Company matters/issues requiring HQ attention, and on a timely basis

Qualifications

  • Degree in Marketing / Business Studies / Administration / Management / Economics / Commerce or equivalent from reputable universities.
  • Minimum 10 years of related working experience.
  • Good command of English & German (spoken and written).
  • Results oriented, strong follow up and good negotiation skills.
  • Pleasant personality and able to interact all level of people.
  • Foreign language (optional) will be an added advantage
  • A committed team player who is resourceful, dynamic and possesses good market intelligence.
  • Computer literate, good knowledge of MS Office operation, excel and Outlook
  • To be a good manager, skill of negotiation, strong communication and interpersonal skill are important.
