A role in DVS Supply Chain Operations means you are part of the team responsible for delivering an exceptional digital guest experience while supporting our vendors to fuel Target’s sales and profitability. To achieve this our team works across process operations, last mile execution, guest delivery satisfaction and vendor performance management. Our team manages internal and external partner collaboration for over 1,500 vendors. We elevate and educate our partners on what a true best in class External Digital Fulfillment organization can contribute to holistic enterprise goals and initiatives while continuing to surprise and delight our guests. You will apply data science, analytics and your impressive technical and logistical aptitudes to make sure that our products are processed efficiently. Your passion meets your vision when it comes to working the data, solving problem statements, gap analysis, and asking the all-important question of “What if …?”

To Do This You Will

As a Supply Chain Analyst for the Direct Vendor Ship (DVS) team you will manage our vendor community in support of critical DVS Operations metrics from onboarding and throughout their lifecycle. You will direct vendors regarding order fulfillment processes and technology to ensure requirements and guidelines are met. As a high performing member of the team you will also steer initiatives to propel Target’s DVS Supply Chain competencies forward to meet the needs of the future.

• Lead efforts related to late order management, vendor performance, and internal cooperation on root cause problem solving.
• Identify and develop solutions for vendor process and system issues contributing to order related issues.
• Provide key insights in written and verbal format to peers, leaders, and partners.
• Manage special projects that support overall DVS operations network health.
• Manage vendor partners to ensure expectations for on time shipment, fill rate and shipping compliance are clearly understood and met.
• Partner with Data Sciences, Supply Chain product teams, Digital Experience, Item COE, Merchandising, transportation, PPCOE and other operations teams to identify gaps and resolve issues as needed.
• Maintain vendor attributes across systems to ensure data accuracy within the DVS supply chain

This position may be considered for a Full-Time Remote or Hybrid work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid work arrangement means the team members core role will be a blend of virtual and onsite at a Target location. A Full-Time Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that’s not a Target location, does not have a desk at their primary HQ work location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year.

About You

• 1-4 years Target, e-commerce, supply chain or supply chain support area experience
• Understanding of DVS business model, EDI requirements, and Target Order Management systems preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills – will interact with internal & external partners on a recurring basis
• Ability to analyze reporting across metrics to identify performance issues
• Experience with vendor management with an operational lens preferred.
• Comfortable self-directing, self-motivating and figuring out the optimal path forward where not defined
• Proven ability to work in fast paced environment

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada residents is $52,200 to $94,000. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, Target cares about and invests in you as a team member, so that you can take care of yourself and your family.
