Description: Airspace Lounge, SAN, is located behind security in Terminal 2 and is common use to any passenger in addition to having partnerships with American Express, American Airlines Admirals Club and others. The lounge offers extensive menu choices, full bar, shower, on site restrooms and dedicated business areas. We are open 365 days per year from at least 5:00a to 10:00p.

Responsibilities: Manages all day-to-day lounge operations with a focus on delivering a great guest experience and speed of service; directly supervise and support all hourly Team Members; manages all profit and loss centers.

Frequently interacts with guests; follow up on any issues and complaints they may have to ensure Guest Satisfaction.

Determines current and future staffing needs in the lounge to ensure an adequate number of talented team members are available to deliver a great guest experience.

Identifies and develops high potential team members and Managers to fill future openings by providing ongoing and honest feedback, coaching and development.

Completes all financial and personnel / payroll related administrative duties in and an accurate and timely way.

Build and cultivate strong relationships with suppliers, partners and airport administration

Identifies opportunities to drive sales, traffic and return visits with a 4-wall mentality.

Creates a safe, clean and discrimination-free environment for all managers, team members and guests by ensuring all legal and company standards are met.

Requirements: Must be able to pass TSA and FBI background checks

Minimum 5 years of progressive management experience in restaurant or retail

Possess business acumen and ability to manage P&L, budgets and financial projections and analysis

Must be capable of performing all functions for all hourly positions

Must be able to walk and stand during entire shift

Frequent bending and stooping required

Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs

Must be able to read and write English
