Job Summary
Responsible for the performance of the Into Plane Fueling Department including but not limited to carrying out the fueling requirements of contracted and ADHOC customers and for adherence to all pertinent Swissport Fueling Inc.; Air Transport Association (ATA) 103; and International Air Transportation Association (IATA) maintenance and inspection requirements.
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for ensuring trained and qualified Aircraft Refuelers perform duties according to the applicable Airline Fueling Manuals
- Responsible for annual budget compliance and for complying with all established environmental reporting requirements
- Implement standard safety and fueling procedures and directives
- Monitors Airline Management interface and on time performance of the fuelers
- Manages resources effectively to ensure customer satisfaction
- Ensures Airline Publications are up to date with latest revisions and changes
- Assists Station Manager in developing annual budget and monthly reports
- Ensures timely compliance with all Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) directives and procedures as applicable
- Manages relationships with Airline Station / Operation Managers to deliver customer excellence
- Assists and insure complete and accurate fuel inventory reporting
- Maintains strong working relationship with Fire Marshalls Office and Airport Operations
- Reviews and develop corrective actions, if applicable with the P&L assisting Station Manager
- Available to respond to crisis situations effectively
- Adheres to Swissport Policy and Union bargaining agreements as applicable
- Performs other duties as requested by your immediate Supervisor
Qualifications And Competencies
- College Level Degree preferred
- 5 years management experience in an Aviation setting
- Have a valid driver’s license and pass a color blindness test
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Thorough knowledge and work experience with Windows Office programs including Word, Excel, Power point
- Ability to perform multi – tasking skills
- Knowledge of Profit and Loss (P&L) Statements
- Working knowledge of State and Federal Hazardous Waste Regulations
