Job description:

Executes administrative assignments and performs a variety of administrative duties for the CFO. This role plays an important part in keeping the office of the CFO running smoothly.

Duties and responsibilities

  1. Manage the day-to-day operations of the CFO’s office ensuring quality & efficiency.
  2. Exercise utmost discretion handling highly confidential and critical information.
  3. Plan and schedule CFO’s meetings and appointments; keep CFO on track.
  4. Manage and maintain CFO’s schedule and calendar.
  5. Assist executives/others in scheduling meetings with the CFO.
  6. Heavy calendar work coordinating executive schedules domestically and internationally.
  7. Assist Finance management and staff in preparing reports and other data as required.
  8. Prepare meeting agendas and make arrangements such as coordinating catering for various meetings.
  9. Follow up on projects and assignments due to the CFO.
  10. Coordinate travel arrangements for all Finance Dept staff and outside executives visiting Taro.
  11. Handle international communications between USA, Canada, Israel and India.
  12. Plan on- and off-site events which include selecting the venue, contract negotiation, menu selection, invitation list as well as overseeing the event, if needed.
  13. Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, and PowerPoint presentations for executives, committees and board of directors.
  14. High level of attention to detail.
  15. Under direction of CFO, approve staff expense reports ensuring compliance with company policies and guidelines.
  16. Open conference calls on behalf of the CFO.
  17. Set up Go-To Meetings.
  18. Disseminate announcements on behalf of the CFO.
  19. Maintain CFO’s files and records.


  1. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  2. Minimum 5 years’ experience performing high level administrative duties for senior executives.
  3. Experience supporting a CFO or other senior finance executive preferred.
  4. Superior interpersonal skills to professionally interact and communicate with all levels in person or via email and phone.
  5. Superior skills handling confidential and sensitive information.
  6. High level of attention to detail.
  7. Requirements include advanced skills in Microsoft Office PowerPoint and Word along with basic Excel skills. Adobe Acrobat editing skills preferred. Experience with Lotus Notes and Concur expense reporting system a plus.
  8. Experience supporting executives in a global organization / environment preferred.
  9. Ability to collect and analyze basic data into an Excel spreadsheet.
  10. Project oriented and ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment.
  11. Excellent customer service and follow-up skills.
