Job Summary

Responsible for leading the Residential and Small Business Sales Reporting & Analytics team in producing sales activity reporting, business trending, support systems development and maintenance. This individual will be responsible for developing reporting solutions for sales and sales operations leadership and establishing team processes and measurement protocols. They will manage data extraction, modeling, report generation, and analysis of monthly performance metrics. Responsibilities will also include enforcement of data integrity and accuracy of the operational databases utilized in support of Residential and SMB Telesales, and associated analytics of such data. Will also be directly involved in special projects management – including data migration/integrity projects, new business development opportunities, and change management initiatives necessary to drive company objectives.

Major Duties And Responsibilities

Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.

Function as primary manager of sales operational support tools including interactive report models, web interfaces, and software applications.

Oversee the tracking and reporting of data on a daily, weekly, monthly basis to assess sales performance. Assist in analyzing data trends and promoting alternative management strategies to increase efficiencies.

Maintain a strong understanding of Residential and SMB Telesales data and various relational databases, contributing regularly to strategies that enhance that data. Be a subject matter expert on reporting platforms and team functions. Support sales organization by sharing knowledge and training in regards to reporting platforms.

Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership team on performanceesults.

Develop partnerships with Business Planning, IT, Sales Operations, Fulfillment, Marketing, Fiscal Operations, and other sales support groups to ensure accuracy and functionality of data collection platforms, functionality of sales reporting tools, and overall collaboration of all necessary reporting functions.

Provide additional support and analysis for sales and operations departments’ special projects; including data migration/integrity initiatives, financial initiatives, data queries, among others.

Required Qualifications

Skills/Abilities and Knowledge

Ability to read, write, speak and understand English

Ability to thoroughly analyze and interpret data

Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear and straightforward manner

Proven leadership skills and ability to communicate with all levels of management and company personnel

Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks

Ability to understand business uses of data and put together specifications for data design and development

Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure

Ability to use personal computer and software applications

Strategic perspective, sound business judgment and a collaborative work style

Knowledge of cable and telecommunications products and services

Knowledge of dimensional and relational data modeling, SQL, ETL Functions and Utilities

Knowledge of CRM tools (SalesForce)

Exposure to MicroStrategy (preferred)

Strong knowledge of MS Access, and advanced Excel functions required

Strong knowledge of Visual Basic and VB.Net required

Knowledge of Billing System Platforms (preferred)

Education

Bachelor’s degree in either Information Systems or Business; or related field or equivalent work experience
