Join our Human Resources Partnerships & Solutions team as an intern. Work as part of a high performing, fast paced team and be exposed to many areas of HR.
The HR Partnerships & Solutions team supports employees and managers in all departments at SVB in the areas on-boarding new hires, updating employee data, answering questions, and managing employee relations.
This role would be part-time over a 6-month period with the option to extend further. The ideal candidate must be able to work at minimum of 3 hours per day during the week.
The role is open to both graduate and undergraduate students.
Primary Responsibilities
- Create new hire and termination packages and enter data into Workday, our HR system.
- Process employee changes in Workday.
- Assist managers in entering employee changes into Workday.
- Create training materials & packets.
- Assist HR Representative with general HR inquires around compensation, wellbeing, benefits, performance, learning and development, amongst others.
- Assist with special projects as assigned by Human Resources Business Partners.
Qualifications
- Candidates must be currently enrolled at university for the year 2021/2022 (Minimum Requirement)
- On track for 21 or higher at university
- An HR/Organisational Psychology related degree is highly desirable
The role is only suitable for a student seeking a part-time role alongside an HR/Organisational Psychology related degree.
