Position Overview
Position Overview:
Load packaged filament yarn (nylon, polypropylene, and polyester) onto a Roto Twist machine. Doff off finished product packages as directed and otherwise operate a Twisting machine.
Responsibilities
Open pallets or cases of raw yarn using a Duck Bill knife or other appropriate hand tool.
Recycle or discard packaging material.
Remove raw yarn from container and transfer to creel pegs and splice in.
Place appropriate yarn label inside tube of finished yarn.
Tie off and doff finished packages.
Visually compare finished yarn to standard for color and quality discrepancies.
Pack yarn on pack-out conveyor/
Compare labels; doff tickets, and specification sheets for discrepancies.
Help other Roto Twist operators as needed. (Teamwork)
Maintain any reports and/or records.
Assist in keeping work areas clean, orderly manner.
Miscellaneous duties as required.
Position Requirements
Frequently required to read, write, stand, walk, reach 78ins, and handle packages 12-14lbs.
Occasionally required to kneel, crouch, stoop, and lift.
Occasionally required to lift 25lbs.
Must be able to work 8-hour shifts
Must be able to work in a team environment

8 Hr non-rotating shift, Hrs fall to out-punch day, Observed Calendar, shift starts PM
