Job Description:

As a Manager, Mobile Messaging you will own end to end campaigns from strategy through to execution and hindsighting – ensuring a seamless client experience to meet primary KPIs. You will Manage the broadcast mobile messaging channel calendar planning process, strategies, and programs, along with emerging marketing channels to drive overall traffic and revenue. Reporting to the Director of Mobile Messaging, you will work closely with internal and external partners (such as Merchandising, Promotions, Client Experience, Brand Marketing and Analytics) delivering results that are highly visible and critical to online and offline sales for the company.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage one direct report – with a focus on coaching, developing & retaining high performing talent
  • Scale emerging marketing channels, particularly SMS text and Web Push notifications, and support Director on one-off pilots as needed

  • Develop location-based messaging strategies that leverage geo-targeting to deliver relevant messaging in real-time and drive traffic and revenue to stores
  • Keep a strong pulse on mobile & industry trends, innovation and legal compliance through competitive marketplace analysis
  • Build strong cross functional relationships with key business partners including Merchants, Promo, Loyalty, CRM, Analytics, and other digital marketing channels to socialize channel strategy, priorities, and goals to ensure cross-functional alignment and effective performance management
  • Own the mobile messaging channel monthly planning & calendar strategy – build, manage, and upkeep with inputs from cross-functional partners to meet deadlines & forecast and ensure smooth execution
  • Expand personalization through use of segmentation and predictive modeling

Job Requirements:

  • Strong strategic business analytical skills, familiarity utilizing reporting and analytics to drive actions
  • Self-starter with high degree of motivation, ability to meet deadlines and to manage multiple projects to completion
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills with high proficiency in Microsoft applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel), Smartsheets, Adobe Analytics a plus
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills: ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with business partners at all levels
  • Superior organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to draw conclusions and act based on data
  • Understanding of mobile marketing processes and production, as well as passion for customer lifecycle marketing
  • Ability to balance client experience, business needs, and resources to ensure correct prioritization while maintaining exceptional attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to prioritize, work cooperatively and collaborate with cross-functional teams and thrive in an exceedingly fast-paced environment across projects, initiatives and people while dealing with ambiguity at times

Qualification & Experience:

  • 3+ years of relevant digital marketing experience, including experience in mobile marketing
