The Investment Manager Services Division (IMS) at SEI is growing rapidly and is seeking new members on our Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) team. Our primary goal is to provide exceptional customer service and administration servicing for our clients’ assigned hedge and private equity funds.

What You’ll Do

› As the Specialist, you will be responsible for reviewing tax certification forms for completeness and appropriateness of the form completed. You will also validate accuracy against client-provided account information and tax treaty benefits claimed, and identify and resolve exceptions

› You will identify and classify payees for FATCA and other tax reporting and withholding purposes.

› You will identify U.S. indicia in initial on-boarding documentation.

› You will monitor for change in circumstances and perform additional diligence, where necessary.

› You will be responsible for ensuring stakeholders are appropriately maintaining jurisdictional compliant demographic information.

› You will document internal decisions and client approval.

› You will assist in training new hires.

› You will serve as the main point of contact for the client and SEI Investor Services teams to assist with addressing unique client issues.

Position Requirements

What you bring to the table:

› BA / BS in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or equivalent professional experience.

› Minimum 2 Years Of FATCA Experience Preferred.

› Minimum 2 years relevant transfer agency or investor services experience.

› Tax background preferred.

› Ability to appropriately escalate exceptions requiring additional resource knowledge or special consideration.

› Ability to work under tight deadlines with limited supervision.

› The self-motivation, organization and drive to complete multiple client deliverables in a timely manner without sacrificing excellence or quality.

› Strong written and verbal communication skills as you will primarily support your clients through email and/or phone calls.

› Strong customer service skills as you will be communicating daily with your clients and other service providers.
