Robert Half Exclusive!!! Our client, a growing manufacturing company is seeking a Sr. Accountant due to growth! The Senior Accountant handles a wide range of tasks, including financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, audit preparation, standard costing and physical inventory.
General Responsibilities:
– Prepare monthly consolidated P&L and Balance Sheet flux
analysis for management reporting
– Reports monthly, quarterly, and annual analysis on overhead
expenses to management
– Perform monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables
such as journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP
– Manages the Cycle Count process and leads Annual Physical
count process as well as the reconciliation of the results and provides
recommendations to operations
– Perform Scrap Analysis and Rework Analysis on a monthly basis.
Ensure supplier responsibility scrap is recovered. Process Inventory Disposable
as necessary
– Responsible for establishing and managing standard costs and
make recommendations for improvements
– Offer involvement in various department-wide initiatives
– When working with business partners, ensure compliance with
corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls. Additionally, be able
to provide support on special requests
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, CMA or CPA highly
preferred
– Minimum of 3 years related experience in manufacturing
– Strong background in standard costing, GAAP, inventory, PPV
– Advanced Microsoft Excel (V-Look Ups/Pivot Tables)
– Able to work independently and in a team
– Previous ERP systems experience
– Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
