About the job
We are looking for Business Developers for our international tech client to grow their deal-making team. Research and identify new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, trends, target clients, partnerships, global opportunities, or new ways of reaching existing markets.
Responsibilities
Research and identify new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, trends, target clients, partnerships, global opportunities, or new ways of reaching existing markets
Seek out the appropriate contact in an organization and outreach to target clients to create a sales pipeline
Arrange demo meetings via sales calls or other methods approved by the senior staff
Generate leads, establish points of contact, engage with decision-makers, and build relationships. This includes identifying and researching potential clients in the local and targeted international market, attending relevant/ approved conferences, and internal and external networking
Set up and present demos effectively to potential clients with the aim of closing deals
Assist senior members of the team in putting together proposals and assist in negotiating and closing deals to the extent required by the senior team
Managing outbound sales and business development campaigns
Follow up on warm opportunities that you have created
Maintain a strong understanding of the product, features, and technical specifications to effectively engage with potential clients
Understand the needs of your clients to be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these
Attend weekly business development/sales team meetings and provide information to management about sales figures, goals, forecasts and obstacles
Provide feedback to Client Management and IT teams on ways to improve the platform that will result in growth in market share
RequirementsRequirements
2 – 5 years of direct work experience in business development or sales
Bachelors degree in business, marketing, economics, or related field
Excellent knowledge of MS Office and presentation skills
Familiarity with CRM practices along with the ability to build productive business professional relationships
Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
Excellent selling, negotiation, and communication skills
Prioritising, time management and organisational skills
Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the clients needs
Relationship building skills and openness to feedback
Knowledge/Experience in the following areas will be beneficial but not required:
CFA level 1 2 or 3
