Job Description:

You will be responsible for the development and implementation of fraud management strategies for digital products and services delivered via Transformational Programs such as Omni, epiX and Payments Modernization. You will be accountable for the successful achievement of the agreed upon goals and objectives, driving a high level of performance, employee engagement, a superior client experience and sustainable value creation for RBC shareholders. You will carry out all responsibilities in accordance with the Code of Conduct and Guiding Principles.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide fraud expertise that enable business strategies and support key business initiatives with fraud subject matter expertise and optionality
  • Lead the development of Fraud Mitigation Strategies
  • Diminish roadblocks for Project Managers, defining points of agreement / compromise with fact based solutions for consideration, and provide Senior Management with updates on project issues
  • Ensure fraud management processes are relevant, efficient, effective, scalable and leveraged wherever possible
  • Develop strategic plans for addressing new and existing fraud risks
  • Perform data analysis to understand and communicate day-to-day and monthly trends; as required, develop a fact base for business cases to support technology or FTE investment
  • Partner with technology, fraud analytics, fraud operations, business partners and sources of intelligence to design anti-fraud tools, processes and reporting

Job Requirements:

  • Proven ability to work on problems of complex and diverse scope, and identify creative solutions
  • Highly organized, with ability to multitask and shift priorities efficiently and partner with stakeholders
  • Professional oral and written communication, presentation and Impact & Influence skills
  • Comprehensive/conceptual thinker, experienced in dealing with ambiguity
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a proven ability to source, analyze and summarize transactional and financial data
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (graphs, formulae, importing data) and PowerPoint
  • Retail or Business Banking experience, and a solid knowledge of Payments products or Channel Authentication

Qualification & Experience:

  • Project Management and Consulting experience
  • University Degree
  • Previous Fraud experience
  • Experience working on Agile teams
