Job Description:

Senior Business Analyst is responsible for business analysis activities on medium to large size projects. The role demonstrates advanced knowledge and ability, and can apply the competency in new or complex situations and guides other professionals. The role is responsible for execution of all aspects of requirements delivery- planning, elicitation, analysis and documentation, management, and support – for changes to Business Areas and Technology.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead requirements prioritization and leverage techniques to drive out business priorities
  • Develop plans and accurate estimates for completion of requirements, continuously improving the level of detail and accuracy of estimates
  • Apply advanced elicitation techniques to work with different types of stakeholder groups
  • Analyze and document detailed business and system solution requirements using enterprise standard requirements methodology
  • Facilitate collaborative sessions with large and diverse business stakeholder groups to drive requirements discovery, analysis, and review
  • Analyze and document scope of the business solution using enterprise-standard requirements methodology
  • Verify requirements for quality and validate requirements with the impacted stakeholders
  • Define the business analysis approach including tasks and deliverables based on the project and delivery methodology
  • Manage risks, assumptions and constraints for requirements, and communicate to appropriate parties
  • Perform requirements stakeholder analysis to identify impacted or influencing groups and stakeholder requirements responsibilities

Job Requirements:

  • Requirements elicitation techniques such as Document analysis, Interviews, Facilitated workshops, Observation, Prototyping, Focus groups, Surveys
  • Masters Certificate in Business Analysis (Preferred)
  • Relevant college, university, or post-graduate degree in Business Analysis
  • Working as a Senior Business Analyst with progressively increasing responsibilities in the areas of requirements management on large and complex projects

Qualification & Experience:

  • Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Project Management Institute -Professional in Business Analysis Certification (PMI – PBA) (Preferred)
  • Experience in requirements planning and prioritization including stakeholder analysis and effort estimation
  • Proven experience with various project delivery methodologies such as Waterfall, Iterative and/or Agile
