Currently, we are in search of an enthusiastic full-time Training Specialist.JOB DESCRIPTION

Training Specialist will work with the Director of Training and Development and Training Team. Will assist in the execution of training and employee development initiatives, which include but not limited to, developing, planning, organizing, implementing, facilitating, and evaluating training programs throughout the company.

Qualifications

3+ years in Residential Property Management

2+ years in Training, Managing, or similar role

Proven ability to train peers and coach others for a higher level of performance

Exposure to industry leading software (ResMan, Yardi, OneSite)

Exposure to LMS (Edge2Learn, GraceHill) is a plus

Excellent written/verbal communication and strong presentation/facilitation skills

Knowledge of delivery methods (ILT, VILT, eLearning, video, guides)

Experience in needs assessment, data collection, and analyzation to identify problems and offer solutions

Possess excellent conflict resolution skills, with the ability to address difficult or sensitive issues in a compassionate yet straightforward manner

Highly self-motivated and organized individual with ability to work independently and as a part of a team

Ability to think with a broad scope; must have growth mindset

Must have superior interpersonal skills; ability to get along with diverse personalities; tactful, mature, flexible

Ability to read and interpret documents, such as technical data, rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals

Must have team building, motivational, and listening skills

Ability to maintain confidentiality

Highly proficient in Microsoft Office product

Ability to work in high levels of fast-paced work environment, adapt to change management and evolution of positionesponsibilities

Responsibilities

Conduct needs assessments as needed for any roles within the company

Evaluate KPI’s to measure and improve performance while impacting culture, employee engagement, development, retention, and company growth

Serve as a role model and positive representative for the company while maintaining a professional image

Enforce lease and other government rules and regulations, including but not limited to Fair Housing laws, safety codes, and local ordinances

Plan and facilitate already established ELEVATE training programs including Sales and Systems Treks for leasing, Property Manager Systems Trek

Assist in the development and implementation of new ELEVATE programs; including but not limited to all instructor led training, virtual training, eLearning, guides, procedural manuals

Conduct ELEVATE onboarding check-ins (30, 60, 90 days)

Create and monitor the effective transfer of knowledge from training programs to on-the-job performance (TPA, video shopping reports, etc.)

Report training performance in various evaluation techniques

Work alongside Training and Marketing Coordinator to help maintain training reports, schedules, participant records, training resource files, and team member transcripts

Remain informed of the trends in the industries of property management and training and development

Ensure all work and reports are completed timely and accurately

Assist Training Team and Director of Training and Development with any performance initiatives or other projects as necessary

Travel required on a regular basis
