Job Title: Jr. BI Developer

Work Location: Dallas, TX

Education/Experience Required: Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.

  • Job Description : The Junior Business Intelligence Developer is responsible for development of Business Intelligence dashboards, assisting with ETL Integrations, and reports using Power BI, SSRS, and associated technologies.
  • This role performs BI design and development tasks, assisting the Data Management Team to key insights for stakeholders.
  • Responsibilities :Gather requirements for reports or ETL projects.
  • Assist in constructing and supporting ETLs.
  • Prepare data for reports.
  • Report building and maintenance.
  • Conduct report data and functionality tests.
  • Resolve issues found in testing.
  • Document new and existing processes.
  • Perform design, development and delivery of business intelligence solutions using Power BI software.
  • Works with team leads to ensure adherence to data modeling and data management standards and best practices
  • Identifies opportunities for data alignment and re-use

Skills & Qualifications :

  • Education and/or ExperienceBachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • Skills/Specialized KnowledgeStrong communication both written and verbal.
  • Experience with SQL.
  • Experience with building reports and dashboards.
  • Experience documenting processes or code.
  • Problem solver who can add value even when working outside of normal scope of duties.
  • Willingness and ability to learn and research.
  • Attention to details.
  • Must have an Automation mindset.
  • Must have experience with PowerBI Development
