Job Description:

Customer Service/Ramp Agents are part of a team that works in conjunction with crew members. They are responsible for providing outstanding service to our customers and must embody the Pacific Coastal Airlines motto of “People Friendly, People First”. The successful individual will be expected to role model behaviors that respect the corporate values, professionalism, diversity and service excellence to our internal and external customers.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Marshall aircraft
  • Commitment to providing a safe, stress-free and friendly passenger experience
  • Resolve service disruption issues such as cancelled or missed flights, determining alternative flight options, changes or rebooking reservations
  • Check-in passengers, issue boarding passes, verify immigration documents
  • Lift and move baggage
  • Provide special handling of luggage/cargo as required/directed
  • Possess an excellent understanding all company products, services, processes and guidelines
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Unload passenger luggage
  • Execute deplaning and boarding processes, ensuring a safe, on-time departure
  • Check baggage and collect excess baggage/overweight charges
  • Drive and/or operate ground support equipment

Job Requirements:

  • Valid class 5 driver’s license
  • High level of computer proficiency and data entry skills
  • Capable of lifting up to 70 pounds
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain designated security clearance
  • Clear and effective communication skills with demonstrated ability to have difficult conversations

Qualification & Experience:

  • Minimum of two years’ experience in customer-facing Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision
  • Previous customer service experience is an asset
