Job Responsibilities

  • Monitor Core and Supplier SKU performance to ensure that all products are within their acceptable returns percentage
  • Audit/assist onsite Suppliers to –
    • Address actionable Return Trends at a SKU/Taxonomy level
  • Audit onsite SKUs for –
    • Accurate and Sufficient Information
    • Actionable Return Trends
    • Potential Legal Restrictions
  • Comprehend and analyze provided data to make accurate decisions
  • Use dynamic databases such Teradata, Microstrategy and Access to track action plans and improvements
  • Work with all necessary departments via email to ensure accurate resolution for problem SKUs (i.e. Partners, Merchandising, Partner Care, etc.)
  • Work with Customer Service to address identified issues with product information or product quality
  • Review and make accurate decisions on all Friction Exception requests
  • Order and perform physical audits on items that require detailed analysis to ensure Overstock standards are met with product quality, description and packaging.
  • Assist in the review of existing processes for improvements and optimization
  • Respond to critical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Be detail-oriented.
  • Prepare quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends.
  • Evaluate all aspects of Product Quality for continuous improvement opportunities
  • Perform other duties as required and assigned by manager and upper management.

Job Requirements

  • 2+ years’ experience in an analyticaleporting position
  • Able to summarize and report accurately on findings
  • Excellent written and oral communication.
  • Proficient data analysis skills, including understanding of averages, percentages, and thresholds.
  • Experience with financial data a plus.
  • Proficient in Internet Technologies
  • Proficient in Salesforce and customer care related applications
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Adapt easily to process changes
  • Must manage own priorities and task lists
  • Expert in all PQA tools and databases

Skills

  • Intermediate Excel knowledge/skills
  • Expert knowledge of returns and return frictional costs
  • Highly adept with Visio, Macro Express, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook.
  • Basic SQL Knowledge
  • Analytical Thinking
  • Self-Motivated
  • Good Problem solving and Organizational Skills
  • Able to accurately tracks tasks & priorities
  • Basic JIRA

Education

Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent certifications

Physical Requirements

This position requires the incumbent to sit, stand and perform general office functions. The incumbent may also be required to lift and maneuver up to 50 pounds occasionally. Bending, stooping and reaching are also frequently required.
