THE OPPORTUNITY

Reporting to the EVP, SMB/C Sales, the VP SMB/C Operations is responsible for driving operational efficiency and effectiveness to support growth in a scalable, repeatable manner. The role will focus on establishing and improving partner, customer facing, and internal program & project methodologies driven by customer and program analytics. This role requires operational expertise, a strong customer & partner focus, an understanding of SaaS and ARR models, strategic thinking, transformational leadership, complex project management, and the ability to work collaboratively with with cross functional teams to drive customer satisfaction.

What You’ll Do

  • As a critical member of the SMB/C Leadership team, supports the long-term strategic roadmap for the organization focusing on driving growth, transformation & innovation
  • Oversee program direction including governance & reporting; prioritization; ROI
  • Turn direction into detailed program plans, coordinate execution and report progress against key milestones and KPIs
  • Leadership of compensation teams, sales enablement, business interface to IT teams, sales operations functions to support sales teams
  • Drive the adoption and implementation of partner facing project and program management methodologies across the function
  • Support the EVP on key growth metric evaluations
  • Support of integration of new acquisitions
  • Leverage project management tools and software advancements to maximize efficiencies

The role also includes an understanding of the SMB/C strategy with supporting elements to:

  • Lead financial and sales planning for SMB/C and tracking to plan
    • Evaluate current forecasting methodology to evolve our capabilities to serve the needs of our expanding portfolio
    • Drive forecast and pipeline cadence
    • Manage sales compensation and incentives and deliver plan designs to algin with the business goals
    • Manage Field and Chanel Rules of Engagement (ROEs)
    • KPIs, Goals, etc., i.e.: owning fiscal SMB/C planning, including preparation of advance work for the SMB/C leadership team discussions and reviews
  • Executive Content Management (MBR, Interlocks, QBRs, ad-hoc EVP and CEO presentations), Rep QBRs, Forecasting Review
  • Manage a centralized project management office to drive strategic initiatives across SMB/C
  • Drive systems and process alignment for SMB/C with cross functional teams
  • Drive sales and partner enablement
  • Manage and develop the technology stack to improve partner and sales productivity
  • Key Sales Operations functions including:
    • Order processing and fulfillment – 24/6 operation with global support for Order Fulfilment and partner inboxes/enquiries.
    • Deal Desk and A&A process
    • SFDC automations and process including Lead Assignment and Routing, Territory Map, Trial Extensions
    • SFDC Report and Dashboards
    • Pricing Operations
    • Legal Operations
    • Channel Operations including partner onboarding, partner tools and partner program management

What You Bring

  • 15+ years working in a global, SaaS industry organization with significant experience in a heavily matrixed organization
  • Strong project management capabilities with excellent negotiation skills and the ability to influence others
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to coordinate resources outside of direct management to support strategies and initiatives to build alignment
  • Ability to communicate complete information (verbal and written) in a clear, concise manner
  • Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work across multiple silos within the organization and lead cross functional teams to successful outcomes, including an ability to address complex situations into actionable plans
  • Strong organization skills: ability to balance and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced and complex environment
  • Ability to see and communicate the big picture across multiple projects
  • Identify and comprehend business changes quickly and communicate to executive/business sponsors accordingly
