Job Description:

The Finance Management Branch (810) at NASA Armstrong Flight Research Center (AFRC) is seeking a highly skilled candidate to serve as an Accountant.

Job Responsibilities:

The position administers and conducts the day-to-day operation and maintenance of financial accounts, which are the basis for the preparation of such key statements as trial balances used to prepare the Agency’s audited financial statements.

Job Requirements:

• You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade, and/or directly related education, as shown below, which has equipped you with the particular competencies needed to successfully perform the duties of this position

Qualification & Experience:

• One year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 level: applying accounting theories, practices, methods, and techniques of operational accounting; experience interpreting accounting data; and applying researching and responding to inquiries on a variety of accounting topics. OR
