The Opportunity

The Sales Representative will be responsible for answering inbound vacation sales calls, selling lodging and show / attraction tickets, plus assisting the customer by sharing information about our lodging and entertainment options to provide them with the best experience, vacation options and upgrades. The Sales Representative will also be responsible for outbound confirmation calls to confirmed Guests prior to arrival and adding value to their reservation with special offers to extend stay or add entertainment.

The ideal candidate will have the ability and a passion for helping Guests get the most out of their vacation experience, and are looking for an opportunity to write their own paycheck.

Requirements

• Ability to up-sell and cross-sell is key to the success in this position
• Possess a positive, politely assertive, patient demeanor while using knowledge of our lodging properties and entertainment to generate sales from inbound sales calls as well as for outbound confirmation calls
• Answer and manage incoming calls and emails as well as outbound confirmation calls, ability to prioritize based upon the directive / goal of generating the maximum revenue and providing exceptional guest service
• Excellent phone etiquette and documentation skills
• Ability to learn parameters for special offers and use the knowledge to increase sales
• Communicate Guest feedback with Management on a daily basis and provide personal insight on improvements that we could make based on your communication with the Guest(s)
• Aim for Guests having the best experience by adding value
• Excellent at communicating over the phone and handling phone systems and company technology
• Ability to concentrate on multiple tasks at once, and prioritize calls based upon time sensitivity of the sale and arrival dates
• Excellent time management and prioritization skills
• Ability to answer the phone, listen actively, relay information, and type basic information simultaneously and accurately – multitasking is key
• Ability to work with a team, as well as individually

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in vacation rentals plus sales / knowledge of Branson is preferred

Schedule

• 30-40 hours per week (overtime is approved if required)
• 8+ hour shifts available for both AM and PM schedules
• Weekend availability is necessary
