Job Description:
The Human Resources (HR) Generalist will work as part of the Human Resources team to support business objectives through managing and administering a diverse range of human resource functions in accordance with company policy and external regulatory agencies.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labor and employment laws; handle OFCCP audits or other inquiries from regulatory agencies, as needed.
- Develop, run, and analyze various data and reports and recommend improvements.
- May serve as the HR contact and offer HR services to remote managers and/or locations.
- Assist with employee recognition programs.
- Advise and coach managers, at all levels of the organization, on such employee issues as performance counseling, coaching and disciplinary actions.
- Continuously advise and support managers to develop and engage their teams.
- Build and maintain effective working relations with management across the organization and employees to provide advice and counsel to both employee related and organizational matters.
- Assist with benefits programs, including annual open enrollment, and participate in benefits administration.
- Analyze data and maintain HR metrics.
- Assist employees by listening to issues and concerns and making recommendations for resolutions.
- Research and provide information and responses to employees related to HR policies, practices, and programs.
- Complete/maintain government reports as needed.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to manage multiple projects, work in a fast-paced environment, and meet short deadlines.
- Working knowledge on human resources practices and labor laws in the areas of recruitment, AA/EEO, employee relations, compensation, training, benefits, leave of absences, compliance, and wage and hour.
- Working knowledge of PC Office products and ADP HRIS and other HRIS systems.
Qualification & Experience:
- Minimum 4-6 years’ experience in Human Resources, preferable in a Generalist role.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field.
- HR Professional Certification (PHR or SHRM-CP).
