Kotis is evolving our approach to sales with a multi-team approach to selling. While Account Executives are responsible for new business development, the newly created Client Success team will be responsible for retaining and growing existing assigned accounts. The Client Success team will be maintaining a pipeline of strategic growth opportunities and constantly executing on that strategy to maintain retention and growth expectations. The Client Success Executive will hold an assigned book of existing accounts and be responsible for day-to-day relationship development with key stakeholders, execution on strategy plans, and new strategy development for each. The CSE will also be the first line of assistance for Account Managers and Program Managers when maintenance accounts are flagged for growth opportunities or deemed at risk.


A successful candidate has a track record of developing amazing client relationships and aptitude for strategic thinking as it pertains to sales growth. The team is seeking candidates who enjoy creative problem solving and who want to look at growing sales through a lens of account-based development and strategy. The ideal candidate will thrive in an abstract sales environment lacking formula and script. Always asking “what can we do next?” is the ideal focus for growth in this position.


Retain Accounts:

  • Primary responsibility is to retain a minimum of 95% of existing revenue with assigned customers.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
  • Focus expected to be on clients where there may be issues or not a strong Account Management relationship. For accounts that have strong Account Management relationships and are healthy, a casual occasional check-in would be optimal.
  • Work with AM/PM to establish business insights calendar by account to drive involvement prioritization and schedule
  • Prioritize communication and involvement when account spend is trending downward, AM/PM identifies account as at risk, or account business insights calendar indicates upcoming opportunity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to suggest product or program improvements responsive to client feedback and industry trends.

Expand Accounts:

  • Achieve a 15% YOY growth with existing assigned customers.
  • Work closely with clients to identify new opportunities and develop strategies to grow revenue while ensuring customer is always receiving quality services.
  • Convert higher volume, lower maintenance existing swag customers to program business where opportunity is identified.

Issue Resolution:

  • Be intimately involved in resolving issues to maintain and strengthen customer trust. Be first point of contact when AM/PM asks for assistance in client problem solving.
  • Make management aware of challenges preventing the retention and/or growth of program clients.


  • Keep every assigned account updated in CCM with 1) Your ownership as AE2)Growth Team tag: Retention, Top Growth Target, etc.
  • Keep account strategy plan for each assigned account updated at all times: CCM, Planner, HubSpot (if necessary)
  • Maintain 50+ Key Growth Accounts in pipeline
  • Minimum 10 touches/day; 50 touches/week on Key Growth Accounts
  • One hour per day on Key Growth Account strategy: mapping what’s next, engaging internal creative resources, referral farming, new contact acquisition strategies (maintained in Planner), etc.
  • Business Reviews with any assigned account 100k+ in annual spend


  • Minimum of three (3) years of previous experience in sales or account management.
  • Record of meeting established performance metrics.
  • Prior quota bearing role where expectations and revenue goals were met.
  • Ability to establish strong, long-lasting relationships at all levels of the organization both internally and externally.
  • Ability to proactively create, execute, and adapt client strategy to achieve goals.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and oral).
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite (including Teams), Internet, and SharePoint.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Evidence of client relationships developed and/or fostered
