Job Details

As a Project Manager with our Land Development team in our Salt Lake City office, this is an exciting opportunity to be an integral member of a dynamic team that has successfully delivered many of the region’s most high-profile projects in education, healthcare, residential/apartment, civic/municipal, mixed use, retail, commercial, industrial, hospitality, institutional, park and recreation, water, sewer, storm drain, and roadway projects. In this key role, the Project Manager is responsible for providing overall management of existing projects, including staffing, budgeting, scheduling and cost estimating.

Responsibilities

Providing technical oversight and review of existing project activities

Managing staff, budgeting, scheduling, and cost estimating

Reviewing client service needs and contracts

Acting as client advocate while maintaining client satisfaction

Leading business development efforts and pursuit planning

Required Qualifications

B.S. in Civil Engineering

Professional registration as a Civil Engineer in the State of Utah or ability to obtain Utah PE licenses within 3 months of hire

A minimum of 5 years’ civil engineering project management experience with private development, facilities, infrastructure and public works design projects

Ability to manage multi-discipline engineering projects, clients and staff; set fees and negotiate contracts including; prepare and deliver presentations; write proposals; respond to RFPs and RFQs, and project invoicing

Prior experience delivering projects for private developers, municipalities, agencies and institutions

Expert technical knowledge of engineering concepts, practices, and procedures

Preferred Qualifications

Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure (ISI) ENV SP credential or ability to obtain credential within 6 months of hire date

Project management experience along the Wasatch Front and surrounding areas
