Job Details

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Manage and lead the procurement team including on a day-to-day basis.
Ensure the goals for the department are met for a fast-past JIT environment.
Maintain inventory levelseporting
Make decisions, lead, and support the team while actively using “best in class “transaction reduction programs to optimize resources and build efficiencies into the procurement process
Consistently implement continuous improvement in department.
Manage purchased materials to support production schedules and customer requirements of OTD.

MUST HAVE, experience with majority of the following

Purchasing in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment
Experience in a JIT (LEAN) manufacturing environment
Strong ERP/MRP experience (JDE Preferred)
Leadership and management experience
Experience implementing purchasing models, plans and procedures to optimize efficiency by cut costs and time.
Purchasing experience of direct materials, capital equipment and MRO.
