Role purpose
Our Early Careers team are responsible for how we attract, recruit, and develop the next generation of talent. As our business aims to grow, we want to grow our Early Careers population with it, so we are looking for someone who wants to take responsibility for our Early Careers recruitment in the UK.
In this role, you will lead the attraction and recruitment of graduates, school leavers, interns and placements. This means that you will be responsible for working with business leaders to establish their recruitment needs, through to planning and delivering our recruitment efforts each season. This is a 360-degree role, meaning you’ll be getting involve in the strategy as much as you will in the operations work.
You will work alongside one of our Coordinators and an external third party, so you will be trusted to own the role and bring your experience to the team. You will report to the Director for EMEA Early Careers and work with them to ensure we are consistent in what we deliver in the UK and share best practices with our EMEA colleagues.
What This Job Involves
- You’ll engage with and build strong relationships with business leaders to establish what their needs are and how we can recruit for them
- You’ll plan our recruitment season – from education institutes to work with and events we’ll run/attend, through to assessment centres
- You’ll work with our Outreach and Partnerships Advisor so we can engage with the student market in the best way possible
- You’ll oversee and be involved in the screening of recruitment stages, e.g. applications and digital interviews
- You’ll ensure we deliver an amazing experience with a personalised approach for our candidates
- You’ll connect with our Development team to ensure pipeline programmes convert talent to our trainee programmes
- You’ll review and report on our recruitment efforts and external partnerships to ensure we are maximising our returns and reaching our aspirations of a truly diverse trainee population
- You’ll manage external partnerships that will help us with attraction and recruitment work, such as marketing agencies, universities, and schools
- You’ll keep up to date with changes in the Early Careers market and incorporate them to ensure we are delivering the best recruitment experience possible.
There may also be opportunities to assist with wider team ad-hoc projects – this could involve working on recruitment or development tasks.

As this will be a busy role, being able to juggle multiple projects and build strong relationships internally and externally are vital. You will also be comfortable in reviewing data to understand our diversity of applicants and assess the return on investment from events/attraction methods.
You’ll have worked in an Early Careers Recruitment or similar role before, with experience in planning and managing recruitment seasons – this could be for regions or on a national level. You’ll also be confident in managing stakeholders across various job levels and have strong passion for supporting the next generation of talent and continuously improving what we do.
