Job Description:

The position is required to serve the customer’s needs and the requirements of their aircraft in accordance with Jet Aviation’s policies and procedures.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Follows specific processes and procedures to maintain the buildings, facilities and grounds.
  • Provides assistance in cleaning the hangars, facilities, including the FBO and grounds keeping of all buildings.
  • Performs a variety of general manual labor tasks (e.g., sweeping and cleaning floors and work areas, picking up papers and refuse from grounds, assisting in the handling of heavy materials, making minor repairs, mowing lawns, shoveling snow, cleaning, dusting, washing windows, moving and polishing furniture and equipment).
  • Responsible for the safe operation of equipment and assigned vehicles.
  • Responsible for cleaning the interior and exterior of aircrafts within established operating procedures established by Jet Aviation.
  • Ability to learn and understand ground power operations to include the safe application of both AC and DC power to general and corporate aircraft.
  • Ability to learn the different types of corporate aircraft and their individual cleaning requirements.
  • Interacts directly with tenants, customers, and fellow employees to resolve problems and issues that may arise during the shift.

Job Requirements:

  • Must be able to obtain an aircraft security ID badge within 30 days from date of hire.
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their proper use.
  • May be required to be 21 or older and have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to interact directly with tenants, customers, and fellow employees to resolve problems and issues that may arise during the shift.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and be able to effectively present information on a one-to-one basis with fellow employees.
  • Basic English language skills
  • Ability to learn the different types of corporate aircraft and their individual cleaning requirements.

Qualification & Experience:

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
