HCA Florida Largo Hospital is currently accepting applications for a Florida-licensed CT Technologist (Tech) with an ARRT (CT) credential on a full-time basis. This CT Tech opportunity has a weekends-only schedule (7a-11p) with an optional additional shift. The CT Tech role requires availability for all weekend shifts, on call and coverage at all Largo Hospital locations (main campus, HCA Florida Largo West Hospital, HCA Florida Clearwater Emergency).

The CAT Scan Technologist demonstrates concern and empathy while performing procedures carefully with compassion and respect; Prepares and positions patients and equipment in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures; Obtains high-quality CT images; Maintains proactive, effective communication with patient and physicians regarding any and all findings, patient histories and test results as appropriate; And collaborates and confers with all colleagues and members of the healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Current ARRT (CT)
• Clear/active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT)
• Minimum of 1-3 years of imaging experience, preferably in an acute-care hospital setting
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Customer service abilities, including effective listening skills
• Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs.
