Role: Organizational Change Management (OCM) Specialist

The Senior Consultant is responsible for leading the planning, development, deployment and monitoring of business engagement, readiness, adoption and sustenance aspects of an organizational change management (OCM) program within the context of a digital transformation initiative. Contributing to this objective, the Senior OCM Specialist will lead the development of stakeholder analysis and stakeholder maps documents, a communication needs assessment report, a stakeholder communications and engagement plan, stakeholder communication content and templates, a change impact assessment report/template, a change readiness assessment report/template, employee pulse surveys, a sentiment analysis and adoption tracking report/document, a change KPI Tracker templateeport, and a change sustenance roadmap learning management templateeport.

Day to Day Operations

Business Engagement and Readiness

  • Identify stakeholders and build an understanding of their needs and concerns
  • Develop stakeholder maps
  • Diagnose communication needs and preferences
  • Develop a communication and engagement strategies, and change and communication plans that are customised for stakeholder groups/workstreams
  • Co-create communication content, templates and collaterals, and facilitate their roll-out
  • Track execution and effectiveness of communication and engagement initiatives and refine plans
  • Understand and evaluate the As-Is and To-Be states
  • Identify change impacts using a change impact assessment tool
  • Create a readiness checklist and assessment questionnaire
  • Run a business readiness assessment and analyse results

Adoption and Sustenance

  • Track metrics indicating change adoption and success achievement
  • Design and deploy surveys (pulse surveys, sentiment analysis) to diagnose change adoption levels
  • Create dashboards to track change management effectiveness KPIs
  • Identify and activate global change champions to inspire and accelerate change adoption
  • Identify interventions and develop a roadmap to sustain resulting changes

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Change Management or other relevant discipline
  • Relevant change management certification is desirable
  • 8+ years’ experience leading change navigation initiatives from planning through to development, deployment and monitoring
  • Direct experience contributing at a senior manager level to high profile Digital Transformation programs
  • Direct experience in projects involving stakeholder analysis, communication planning, creating change readiness assessments, and tracking change management journeys
  • Experience working in a commercial consulting team environment or internal transformational unit at a large enterprise
