Job Description:

Hobby Lobby Stores is a privately held corporation that is looking for a bright, talented, and motivated individual to work as a full-time Import Post Entry Clerk in the International Department. This is an entry level position. The duties and responsibilities of this position are to review and process documents that are used to clear shipments through customs as well as to pay the vendors.

Job Responsibilities:

  • General clerical duties: copying, printing, filing, and scanning documents, etc.
  • Create and modify documents using Word, Excel, and Adobe
  • Review documents and reconcile data for payment processing to overseas vendors
  • Review documents and reconcile data used to clear shipments by customs
  • Correspond with internal & external business partners
  • Conduct research: compile data, spreadsheets, etc.

Job Requirements:

  • Team-oriented, possessing a positive attitude and works well with others while effectively able to work with minimal supervision
  • High level of interpersonal and communication skills to work across functional and organizational lines.
  • Ability to focus and apply analytical thinking
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Ability to prioritize, organize and multi-task in a flexible, fast paced environment to effectively meet deadlines
  • Must possess exceptional attention to detail,
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions
  • Ability to learn and adapt to various web-based reporting tools
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Qualification & Experience:

  • 2 – 5 years’ work experience in a related field a plus
  • High school diploma or general education degree
