Data Analyst – SQL

This software house is a leading service provider head office is based in the United States but they have a strong foot hold in Belfast. They have a large technology team and recruit for a variety of roles, from entry level to seasoned professionals. This role would allow travel and personal development, with journeys to the USA being part of this job, as well as opportunities to grow within their progression.
This opportunity would involve analysing data and ensuring data integrity as well as working to provide high level summaries of data gathered. Troubleshooting complex data issues for financial data, including market data, risk analytics, and financial reference data, evaluating data issues, running front-office reports, Business Analysis and Data Governance would all be part of your daily routine.
The job should be considered in a unique niche as this client encourages their Analysts to develop their opinions and hold a say in matters, and you would be an active member in team discussions, as well as dealing with ad hoc stakeholder requests.
Ideally, you will have 2 years working with SQL, be able to demonstrate an ability to use this tool to query large data sets and have Business Analysis experience. A familiarity with Excel would also be preferable, and any knowledge of data analysis applications would be advantageous to your application.
You will need to have a good, positive, can-do attitude. The role allows very flexible working, where you can design a hybrid work pattern, or remote working, that is uniquely tailored to your needs.
