Job Responsibilities:

  • Support the Director of Airbus/Boing Training by identifying opportunities for training department standardization and uniform operation to include development and implementation of programs necessary for training department operation
  • Support the Director of Airbus/Boeing efforts relating to oversight of Instructor/Evaluator Quality Assurance program
  • Create curriculum and compliance presentations
  • Responsible for fleet specific distance learning content
  • Demonstrate Hawaiian Airlines Purpose & Values by supporting and contributing to a thriving and positive team culture within the Hawaiian Airlines training department
  • Responsible for all fleet specific training standards policies
  • Responsible for development of fleet specific instructor/evaluator Qualification and Continuing Qualification training courseware
  • Responsible for all fleet specific instructor and student courseware and materials used for instruction
  • Form positive and effective working relationships with key stakeholders including Hawaiian Airlines program managers and FAA Inspectors
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal relationship and customer-focus skills; works effectively in teams, work groups, task teams, and independently
  • Knowledge and experience regarding the regulatory requirements involved in maintaining FAA Approved Training Program Manual documentation
  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective professional partnerships at all levels of a company and with companies, organizations, people outside of
  • HA; credible; consistently presents self professionally (verbally, non-verbally, in writing, through behaviors, and dress and grooming)
  • Demonstrated competence with technology
  • Able to travel to all HA locations; must be able to hold a valid HA driver’s license; able to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed
  • Self-starter, organized, detail-oriented with excellent follow through skills

Qualification & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Three years experience in Part 121 air carrier operations either as a pilot or in management or oversight of pilot training programs
