Contract Type: 12-month fixed term contract
Hours per week: 35
Salary: Circa £35,000 per annum (plus Inner London Weighting of £3,344 where applicable)

About This Opportunity…
The British Red Cross has embarked on an evolutionary transformation journey to become Fit for the Future. Fit for the Future (FftF) is a portfolio of programmes spanning across the organisation from fundraising to UK operations to our internal services. It aims to create an efficient & agile organisation with the right structure, services, skills and ways of working to empower our people to deliver Strategy 2030
As a Business Analyst you will define and conduct business analysis activities critical to the success of the transformation portfolio. You will be part of a small team of Business Analysts within the FftF team, working collaboratively to share and develop best practice approaches to business analysis. You will work across multiple programmes and projects focusing where there is the greatest need for your skills to deliver activities on time and to specifications agreed, initially you will be working on the Finance Transformation Programme so any interest or experience you have working within finance transformation would be an advantage.
You’ll take responsibility for leading work to complete process mapping and gather, define, challenge and interpret requirements for multiple programmes and projects and to define processes and develop recommendations, that deliver improvements for our people and service users and create efficiencies.
Some of your key responsibilities will include business process mapping and analysis, requirement gathering and stakeholder management.

This role might be for you if…
- You have experience of creating and analysing clear organisational and business processes and of building and critically analysing business requirements at both high-level and detailed levels
- You have experience of developing and presenting processes, reports, plans and recommendations in a clear, unambiguous and concise way
- You have worked on transformation programmes or in a large and geographically dispersed organisation
You have worked on a project or programme focused on changes within a finance team/department (desirable)You have the ability to manage stakeholders in a complex programme environment including influencing without authority and encouraging collaborative working to achieve programme aimsYou have knowledge of recognised business process analysis and improvement methodologies and the ability to flex and adapt to in-house requirements and approachesYou have excellent knowledge of MS Visio or similar software to produce visuals(Please read the attached full Role Profile/ Job Description for more information about this vacancy including responsibilities and full person specification)
