Business Overview

The Marquee business at Goldman Sachs is responsible for delivering digital products and services to our institutional client base. We design and build highly scalable products and services providing access to Goldman Sachs content, data, analytics, risk and execution services. These tools help to transform and simplify client experiences while generating new revenue streams and business models for a leader in global financial markets. Marquee is composed of talented and passionate sales people, product managers, designers, and engineers, all working together to change the expectation of institutional finance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for engaging clients and building adoption of digital services across the suit of Marquee capabilities, working closely with other internal GS sales teams to leverage their existing relationships
  • Acquire new RaaS clients and users of the Marquee’s Equity Portfolio Analytics in specific among the Equity L/S client segment
  • Accountable for all aspects of the sales cycle, including lead generation, initial client engagement, client qualification and sales demos, negotiating commercial terms, documentation, and closing. Becoming integral to all parts of the digital sales cycle, confidence and enjoyment of presenting digital product to clients, and keenness to close, are critical.
  • Track and manage personal sales pipeline and be accountable together with the global team for sales metrics and relevant OKRs.
  • Marquee’s clients have various touchpoints within Goldman Sachs across asset classes and business divisions. You are expected to build and leverage internal network to ensure proper coordination for internal adoption and delivery of best-in-class client experiences.
  • Advocate for clients’ needs, regarding new initiatives and future product development

Basic Qualifications

  • Approximately 4-8 years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrable ability to identify new prospects, and build and maintain solid client relationships / networking skills
  • Dynamic, confident, and tenacious, able to carry a sale through the complete sales cycle and own the relevant metrics
  • Strong analytic and quantitative skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • A self-starter and dedicated collaborated with strong multi-tasking skills
  • Is a team player and natural collaborator

Preferred Experiences

  • Experience selling RaaS enterprise products to the buy-side i.e. hedge funds, asset managers, pension funds, and insurance companies
  • Desired subject matter expertise in;
    • Portfolio analytics: factor risk attribution, performance attribution, Brison attribution
    • Optimization and backtesting
