FirstService Residential is now hiring a dishwasher for the beautiful Anacapa Restaurant at Corte Bella in Sun City West.

Job Summary

Under the general direction and supervision of the Executive Chef, the Dishwasher will ensure that dish area and main kitchen areas are efficiently kept in a clean and organized manner.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Continuously maintains a neat, clean, organized area for team members and guests as relates to public areas.
• Responsible for set up, execution, and break down of dish machine area.
• Ensuring all equipment is working properly.
• Responsible for the cleanliness of floors, walls, standing equipment within the kitchen area.
• Keeping the back dock area clean and organized and keeping the dumpster.
• Make sure all food storage pans, holding pans, cooking and serving utensils and items are cleaned and stored in their appropriate areas.
• Responsible for the cleaning and sanitizing of public restrooms, and the sweeping and dusting of common areas in the restaurant as prescribed by supervisor and checklists.
• Responsible for the cleanliness of storage spaces as well as helping to maintain proper food storage and rotation. F.I.F.O. (first in — first out)
• Adheres to all internal controls, policies, standards and procedures.
• Understands performance expectations.
• Keep work area clean and sanitary.

Additional Skills & Duties

• Read, understand, and practice all policies and procedures as outlined in the Team Member Handbook.
• Reports to Manager for any items requiring maintenance or repair. Pays particular attention to safety related matters and reports such items immediately.
• Perform all related job duties as requested by direct supervisor, even if not part of the regular job description, particularly if it affects safety of any individual and/or guest service.

Requirements & Education

• High School graduate (recommended).
• Prior experience working in food service establishment (recommended).
• Completion of the food service sanitation course and have copy of current Arizona Food Service Workers Card on File in the Chef’s office.

• Standing, sitting, walking for extended periods of time may be required.
• Ability to safely lift up to 40-50 lbs. following appropriate safety procedures.
• Ability to work in person, as we do not operate remotely.
