We are searching for a Data Scout to join us. As a Data Scout you will:

  • Perform independent market and economic research in various fields and topics to identify new and relevant data sources in various domains in order to improve our algorithmic models.
  • Develop business relations with industry vendors such as platforms and data suppliers in order to provide the data science team accessibility to new data sources and to domain expertise.
  • Understand the data vendors’ technical data representation and Final’s internal data environment.
  • Initiate, enhance, and coordinate internal research projects.
  • Be a part of a collaborative heterogeneous data team which includes developers, data scientists, data engineers and MLOps.

Requirements

  • BA, Economics, magna cum laude from leading universities
  • MA, Economics/Financial Engineering/Financial mathematics magna cum laude (an advantage)
  • Advantage to candidates with 3+ years of working experience in project management including working with internal and external interfaces
  • High personal communication and teamwork skills
  • Effective presentations skills
  • High level of English – written and verbal
  • Self-motivated, creative and fast learner
