PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

The Infrastructure Engineer supports IT services for Esquire users, servers, and data center operations. This is a HYBRID Role-

JOB DUTIES  Participates in proposal production collaborating with commercial and development team  Transition functional requirements into implemented system solutions  Manage operating system software, patches, and upgrades  Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve system hardware, software, and networking issues  Monitor the 24×7 server environment for faults and capacity and take corrective action  Configure, optimize, fine-tune and monitor operating system software and servers  Manage system backups and recovery  Conduct system builds (both physical and virtual)  Disaster Recovery (DR)  Adhere to change control policies and procedures.  Other duties as assigned REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES  Extensive knowledge and experience properly securing hosts, systems and networks according to security best practices aligned with one of the major security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, etc.)  Extensive experience with VMware Enterprise + Administration & Maintenance  Cisco UCS Administration & Maintenance  Extensive knowledge and experience in administering Active Directory  Knowledge of Windows OS, Exchange Server, MS SQL Server, Active Directory design, and PowerShell  Excellent documentation skills and process engineering capabilities  Functional knowledge of in networking and configuration of Cisco switches, firewalls and other network devices  Clear understanding of A/V tech: Sophos, Any industry standard A/V platform  An ability to interact clearly and politely with employees at all skill levels  Clear understanding of remote support applications such as Teamviewer, etc.  A willingness to learn new tech and the ability to grow  Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, communication and organizational skills.  Ability to interpret and analyze data and make recommendations based on findings  Meet assigned deadlines and make sound decisions  Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance  Ability to handle escalations from the support team and support manager  On call as needed for problems and incidents  After hours, weekend work occasionally required during pre-scheduled, off-hours maintenance windows. Solid understanding of MS Office and troubleshooting techniques associated with common user issues

MEASUREMENTS OF SUCCESS  Successful Completion of Projects by Due Date  Non-maintenance uptime exceeding 99.5% for system infrastructure

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS  VMware Certified Professional (VCP)  4 years of related experience of support in a corporate environment
