Marketing & Events Manger Position Summary

This position works in partnership with executive and departmental management to plan and oversee the company’s marketing, employee engagement and community involvement. This position allows the flexibility and freedom to really get creative and have some fun.

Responsibilities

• Research and plan digital, traditional and grassroots marketing campaigns to create brand awareness
• Work closely with marketing partners, vendors and manufacturers
• Be an industry expert, staying on top of trends, themes and social changes to provide industry updates.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly and annual marketing budget planning and ROI tracking
• Plan, execute and audit digital marketing activities directly or through vendor partners * GMB
• Social
• Websites
• Digital campaigns
• Evergreen content
• Plan, execute and audit traditional marketing activities directly or through vendor partners
• Plan and oversee grassroots campaigns
• Assist with creative campaigns for employee recruitment and retention
• Oversee all creative for the dealership group.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing or related field, preferred.
• Experience working in social media, marketing communications, or advertising.
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Familiarity with social media tools for publishing, monitoring, social listening and reporting.
• Experience with Google Analytics
• Self-motivated and creative to bring new ideas to the team
• Must enjoy working with the public
• Attention to detail and ability to effectively manage deadlines and multiple tasks
• Ability to demonstrate servant leadership characteristics
• Ability to preserve without exception
• Must be able to bring something to table
