Job Description:

Reporting into the Center of Excellence Director, the Planning & Operations Lead, Americas is responsible for the development of campaign, social and owner communication strategies for the region, and managing two people that support you in this function.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Unpack data and insights to drive towards tensions that we resolve through communications.
  • Manage various stakeholder relationships in the creative approval process, ensuring the creative delivers on the brief, feeding back when necessary and pushing back when necessary, to both brief owners and creative teams.
  • Develop and/or lead the creation of content calendars and plans that target both acquisition and owner engagement (retention).
  • Partner with Marketing, Direct (Ecomm), Retail and Media teams to develop creative briefs, turning business challenges into inspiring, insight-driven, clear creative briefs for any and all channels – social, digital, OOH, retail, CRM – and for both acquisition and retention.
  • Develop reporting and insights against best performing content, channels and emerging trends, and share back to Creative teams and HQ.
  • Inspire creatives to respond to briefs in smart, on trend ways while staying within the parameters of the Dyson brand.
  • Lead and facilitate workshop with cross-functional teams, and often leadership, to better understand, and get people to think differently about, their business challenges and plan for future needs.

Job Requirements:

  • Working within a global organization or on a global brand, within HQ or region, is a plus.
  • Ability to poke and probe to find the true problem to solve in a sea of information – find the clarity in the chaos.
  • Ownership of or Partnership with CRM with an emphasis on customer engagement
  • Extensive knowledge of the audience ecosystem – e.g social media, web, SEO, influencer marketing, paid digital advertising – and how it relates to the full marketing mix.
  • Ability to develop tools and frameworks that help the cross-functional teams build better plans.
  • Passionate about data, content metrics, and how to gather insights that inform content strategy.
  • Proven track record in delivering full-funnel, multi-channel advertising campaigns on behalf of a brand or organization – either in-house or while working for an agency.
  • Stakeholder management – able to lead on the response to a brief, keeping key requirements in mind, communicating with stakeholders/brief owners and managing expectations throughout the process.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills – comfortable writing a brief, presenting insights to key stakeholders, and offering guidance / feedback whether on paper or in person.

Qualification & Experience:

  • 10+ years experience in advertising and content strategy development, largely in the digital and social space.
