Delivery. Work. Projects.

You’ll be working on our DWP Data & Analytics team. We work with one of the largest Data Warehouses in Government, with responsibility for the secure development and delivery of hundreds of data services within DWP and other Government Departments.

This is an Infrastructure Operations Engineer role where you will be responsible for the managing the operations of secure and highly available applications across DWP.

You’ll work with Ops Engineers, and loads of other experts to install, maintain, patch, upgrade, and continuously improve applications and services so that they are reliable and perform as the need to.

The work you do will make sure our services are available and accessible to our millions of daily users.

Our technical services include SAS and/or Informatica for delivery of Data and Analytical products and services, and you’ll have loads of opportunity to build your skills on complex Operational problems with the full support of brilliant community of practice.

What skills, knowledge and experience will you need?

  • Experience of administering and supporting infrastructure technologies, preferably with experience of SAS and/or Informatica.
  • Experience of ITIL Service Management frameworks or similar
  • Experience of working in an incident management environment with a proven record of ability diagnosing and prioritising incidents, investigating their causes and finding solutions.

We offer competitive pay of up to £39,777 in London, and up to £34,971 everywhere else.
